6. When opening the steam valve, it should be done slowly until the required pressure is reached. The stop valve at the condensate water outlet should always be open if a steam trap is installed; if not, it should be opened until steam overflows before closing it slightly. The opening degree should be maintained until a small amount of steam overflows.
